How to Access Awazon Market, Log In, and Register
Eight steps take you from a fresh install of Tor Browser to a logged-in, PGP-protected, funded account. Each one matters; skip one and you either cannot get in or you lose the account later. Work through them in order.
Step 1. Get Tor Browser and check the signature
Download Tor Browser from torproject.org, the only place to pull it from. Verify the package signature against the project's public key before you run the installer; a tampered binary beats any setting you apply inside it. Install it clean and add no extensions. Extensions can break the circuit or leak timing, and the market needs neither of those.
Step 2. Copy the mirror from the catalog
Take one of the three addresses from the mirrors page on this site. Not from a chat, not from a forum thread, not from a screenshot someone sent in a DM. Those channels are where phishers stage their copies, and the catalog is the one place the Awazon team keeps the list current within an hour of a rotation. Copy the full string, all 56 characters, before you move on.
Step 3. Read the whole address before you press Enter
Paste it into the address bar and read every character before you commit. Official addresses are 56 characters long and all start with "awazon". Fakes match the first 8 to 12 characters and then drift, which is why the beginning looking right means nothing. Swaps like awarzon, anwazon, and awazoun pass a fast scan and fail a slow one. Slow down here; this is the cheapest protection you have.
Step 4. Set the security slider to Safer
Click the shield icon and move the security level to Safer. It looks alarming until you learn the market ships with no JavaScript at all, so Safer blocks nothing the site depends on. Leave it there for the whole session. Dropping it to Standard buys you nothing on this site and only opens extra surface.
Step 5. Sit out the Access Queue
Your first load may land on an Access Queue screen instead of the storefront. That is expected traffic control, not an error. Wait for it to clear and do not refresh the page; hitting reload drops you back to the tail of the line. If the queue stretches past a few minutes, switch to the second or third mirror instead of reloading the stuck one.
Step 6. Register with a username and a paper seed
Pick a username you have never used on any other site; reuse is how accounts get linked. Set a password of at least 20 characters. Then write the mnemonic seed the market hands you onto paper and store it somewhere offline.
